MRI analysis
So after having spent the better part of the past weeks packing my entire life into boxes, today was crunch time. The moving company was at it, moving boxes and furniture into a truck while I "happily" went on my way to see the doctor to hear about the MRI findings.
Arriving at the S:t Göran Hospital, I was admitted to see the doctor. He had a younger female doctor with him. He seemed quite confused and unsure of his "presentation" of the MRI findings. After a while, he seemed to remember who I was and why I was there and began talking about the scan.
I didn't hear much after he uttered the words "complete rupture". I asked him when, how fast, how, and all the other things I wanted to know to be able to wrap my head around what I had been told.
He said that there were better places for doing this sort of surgery, and that he would consult with one of the two he had in mind later that afternoon. So I limped back to my apartment to continue the process of moving my life from one place to another.
Completely ruptured hamstring. All tendons off. Just like that. Fookaroonies.
