Hamstring Rehab Workout #17
30C outside today made for a fairly hot gym. I decided to skip warm-up in the traditional sense (which for me is the elliptical trainer/crosstrainer for 30-60 min). Crunches and plank exercises work wonders too 🙂
3x 100 crunches
3x 10 flexible plank with knee-to-elbow
3x 10 deep squats with medicine ball (10)
3x 12 rotation above/around head (helicopter, 2)
3x 8 tricep pulls (lat machine, 80)
3x 8 chest incline (65)
3x 8 low row (90)
3x 10 lunges with twist and medicine ball (10)
3x 20 jackknife with medicine ball (10)
The lunges with the twist and medicine ball felt a bit awkward, as in the balance in my left leg isn't quite what it should be when it comes to the small muscles working.
Lift. Me. Up. Whoa!
